This Cookie Policy describes how Northern Fresh Bakes uses cookies and similar technologies on our website so you can explore bakery menus, view cake and pastry galleries, read baking tips, compare catering tray options, and contact our team with confidence. By continuing to browse our site after seeing relevant notices where required, you acknowledge the practices explained here. For a broader view of how we handle personal data collected through forms, accounts, and in-store orders, please also read our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help pages load correctly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors move through content such as product details, FAQs, baker profiles, and blog articles about breads, pastries, custom cakes, and seasonal sweets. Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, and scripts that support analytics or basic performance measurement across desktop and mobile browsers.
We use essential cookies that are necessary for core site functions. These may keep a session active while you navigate between pages, remember that a mobile menu was opened, support secure login for customer areas, maintain cart or order-inquiry flow state where available, or help forms submit catering and contact requests. Without essential cookies, parts of the Northern Fresh Bakes website may not work reliably on phones, tablets, or desktop browsers, and you may see repeated prompts or incomplete form submissions.
Preference cookies allow us to remember choices such as language settings where available, previously viewed product information, collapsed menu states, or display preferences that make return visits smoother. Analytics cookies help us learn which bakery items, gallery images, catering pages, and baking articles attract the most interest. Aggregated insights guide improvements to navigation, page speed, headline clarity, and content about fresh baking in Edmonton without identifying every individual customer.
Where we use marketing or remarketing technologies, they may help us measure the effectiveness of promotions for seasonal pastries, custom cake offers, catering specials, or gift card campaigns. These tools do not grant us access to payment card numbers stored only with payment providers. We aim to limit advertising-related cookies to what is reasonably useful for promoting our bakery products and informing interested guests about everyday retail items versus pre-ordered celebration cakes and catering trays.
Third-party providers that power fonts, maps, video embeds, analytics platforms, or social sharing features may set their own cookies when those features load. Northern Fresh Bakes does not control every third-party cookie. We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie statements of those providers. Blocking some third-party cookies may disable embedded media, map previews, or certain interactive elements while leaving core menu, gallery, FAQ, and contact pages usable for planning a bakery visit or custom order.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you delete existing cookies, block future cookies, or alert you before a cookie is stored. Mobile devices often include similar controls in system settings. If you disable cookies entirely, you may need to re-enter information more often, and some account or online inquiry features may become limited. Clearing cookies will also remove stored preferences from prior visits, including remembered product comparisons or login convenience features.
Cookie lifespans vary. Session cookies typically expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them and may support analytics or remembered preferences across visits over days or months. We review our use of cookies periodically as we update the website, add gallery content, expand seasonal menus, or improve online order-inquiry experiences for customers seeking breads, pastries, and celebration cakes.
We may revise this Cookie Policy when our technologies, product offerings, or legal obligations change. Updates will be published on this page. Continued browsing after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy to the extent permitted by law. If local rules require a more specific consent mechanism for non-essential cookies, we will implement notices consistent with those requirements while continuing to operate essential site functions for safety and reliability.
Do-not-track browser signals are interpreted differently across the industry. At this time Northern Fresh Bakes does not respond to every do-not-track signal in a uniform automated way, but you can still limit cookies through browser controls described above. If we introduce a dedicated cookie preference panel in the future, instructions will appear on this page. Shared devices at home or work should be logged out of customer areas after use so other people cannot access your order history through stored cookies. Parents or guardians supervising a young baker exploring our tip articles should manage browser settings on shared family devices if they prefer stricter cookie limits while still reviewing our menus and galleries.
Using our website from public Wi-Fi or workplace networks does not change this Cookie Policy, though those networks may apply their own filtering. Orders completed by phone are not dependent on website cookies; you can always call to arrange a custom cake, catering tray, or same-day pastry inquiry without accepting optional advertising cookies. Essential cookies may still be needed if you later manage related details online.
Mall Wi-Fi or third-party kiosk browsers inside Kingsway Garden Mall may apply additional network rules outside our control. When you browse our site on your own device while visiting Unit 2001, this Cookie Policy still governs our website technologies, while mall network policies remain separate. We do not use cookies to track your physical movement through the mall, and in-store point-of-sale systems operate independently from optional marketing cookies on the public website.
